The Honorable Russell T. Clark was born and raised in a military family. Relocating to new communities and states every few years gave him insight into the type of community he would want to call home and raise his own family. Russ is a graduate of Delaware State University, earning a B.S. in Business with a minor in Accounting. He spent many years working as a corporate executive, where relocating to new states every few years was expected, but Russ was still waiting for that one place that felt like home. Russ and his wife Ginny found that place in 1994! They purchased a local business and moved their two young children to Yuma, and it’s been home ever since.
Russ established himself as a local community leader through the growth of his businesses and through his community involvement. He has served Yuma County residents with positions on many local boards including the Chamber of Commerce, the Hospital Operating Board for Yuma Regional Medical Center and the Colorado Tea Party. He is also recognized as an advocate for local concerns by sharing his viewpoints openly on a daily radio program. For fifteen years he has created a forum for listeners and has built connections with leaders by supporting candidates seeking office locally and statewide.
The young children that Russ and Ginny brought to Yuma are now grown and married. Robert is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and Kathryn is a Manager in the in the hospitality industry in Tucson.
