            Property Claims

Analyzing the County's property loss history helps the Risk Director to identify the cause of loss, the department experiencing loss, and the monetary value of each loss. Such analysis improves asset management and protection and identifies sources of reimbursement of losses paid as a result of damage caused by third parties.

The Property Loss Analysis Chart to the right compiles the County's property losses for fiscal years of 2004 through 2014 and divides it by the number of claims and associated costs. After opening the chart, you can click on the "Paid" button to view the amount the County paid for the claim, the "Recovered" button to view the amount collected by the County in reimbursements from liable third parties, and the "Total" button for the total loss amount. Loss data also appears when your mouse hovers over a specific area of the chart.
