Prevent unintentional injuries to youth and adolescents.

Hours of Operation:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday (except legal holidays)
Classes and Events at various times and days during the year. 

Volunteers are needed in many areas of injury prevention as well as in the office. Please call for details.

None for Education and events; Bike Helmets are sold at a discount (no qualifying)

Program Activities:
Safe Kids Yuma County - The Health District is the lead agency for the Safe Kids Yuma County and provides the physical location and infrastructure for the organization. To learn more or become involved please visit the Safe Kids Yuma County Facebook page.  

- Bike Helmets & Bike Safety

- K.I.S.S. Program: (Kids In Safety Seats) - This program provides training on property use and installation on infant-only, convertible (rear/front facing), and booster (high-back and no-back) seats. A two hour training class is available. For details please see the Car Seat Program Schedule below or call (928) 317-4580.
